Reading Tree and Birthday Party Info/Pricing

The Reading Tree comes onsite to your preschool/home daycare. Each enrichment session runs approximately 30 minutes. All supplies are provided. A class consists of greeting the group, reading a high interest book (s), followed by an activity that relates directly back to the book to reinforce ideas and vocabulary. These classes are fun and memorable. Children go home gushing to their parents about the fun they have during Miss Kitty's visits. Reading Tree works well in 2.5 year old and up class, or mixed ages in a home daycare setting. 

About once per month, Reading Tree brings along  a free exchange library. Swap out books your littles no longer read for different titles. There is no extra fees for this service. Books do not get returned to me. This way you have a regular influx of "new" books without the expense. Please only exchange books that are in good condition.

COVID RESPONSE:  55% of communication is visual. To ensure children will be able to fully see expressions and hear tonal variations while observing COVID precautions, a face shield will be worn by the Reading Tree instructor during class. Prior to entering each school/classroom, hand sanitizer will be used. Unit materials will be cleaned/sanitized as appropriate and/or be given a  "resting period"  after each school to avoid cross contamination between locations.  Units have been rebuilt to allow for social distancing during activities. 

* ADA has listed face shields as an acceptable alternative for those with respiratory problems (which I have). If you would like, I can forward that link for you to keep on file for compliance.   

The visit is billed directly to the home provider or center, due at time of service. The childcare provider/center can then collect fees from the children's families (which may include an administrative charge), if they choose. Alternatively, the center may pay for The Reading Tree as a way to promote their program.

Birthday Parties are billed at time of reservation. Party may be rescheduled up to one (1) time with a 48 hour minimum notice. If canceled without notice or rebooked more than once, party fee will be non-refundable.
